I think it would be amusing\\hilarious if we've entered into a contract not realising that it would leave us in breach of PL rules as we can't fulfil home fixtures. Gallows humour if you will.
Otherwise, I'd have to get all angry and upset about it - which is what I'm accused of anyway - and I won't be doing that.
It's one year out of the 99 (assuming UKA don't hold such events again) so yeah it'll be funny we can't play at our "own" ground, what I'll find more hilarious though is the reaction on here with idiots trying to make up reasons why this isn't our board's fault and blaming everyone but them.
Best not to be precious about such things and speak as you find.

I'm a little confused. Why would logistical problems for the football club we all support be hilarious? Hilarious as in making us laugh uproariously? Actually making people laugh because the situation is so funny. I don't get it. Logistical problems for our club = hilarious. It must be me. What am I missing?

I'm sure the BERKS are all over this and already have a plan.
It'd also fuck up any potential groundsharing a bit too wouldn't it, as they wouldn't be able to play there either.
Maybe we'll play whilst the athletics is on in a two for one deal, so you can watch the stars of Man City whilst watching Mo Farah run the 15,000. All they'd need to do is cancel the javelin that day, it'll be fine.

There's a CHAMPIONSHIP WINDOW for some Athletics stuff that means we cannot have the stadium until the 25th August that season.
There seems to be NO negotiation on this like there is with the yearly Athletics window.
